We will be starting our free trial of the eDispatches app in the next 2 or 3 days. This will allow you to receive a recording of your page either through an app on your phone or through a link in a text message for those that receive your Active911 notices that way. If your phone doesn’t allow the text link for some reason, we can set your account up to receive a phone call with the recording.

We have included a link to the app below depending on what type of phone you have.

Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.me.edispatchesapp&hl=en_US&gl=US

iPhone: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/edispatches/id483212134

Once you download the app, you will want to create an account through the it. We believe everyone is entered into the database already based on Active911 usage, but if you have trouble setting up the account, contact Mark at the office at 744-6606 and we will look into it. Text only users don’t need to set up an account.

Chiefs, if someone should be on there that didn’t receive this notice, let us know that too so we can get them added.

Do not expect to start receiving any notices until Tuesday the 28th at the earliest. The equipment we need to set up here at dispatch is supposed to arrive late today so we won’t have it all installed until (hopefully) tomorrow.

This is new to us and we know there may be some glitches during the trial that we have to figure out, so if you notice issues, please contact your chief and provide them with details. We will be reaching out to them a few times during this trial period for that information.
